It contains a surprise that pulls the game full circle, in a funny, albeit very subtle, sort of way. Finally, we personally like the new ending screen when you beat the game. We also had fun with Cop Gip, complete with his "make my day" tell, Franken-Shogun with his brain jar head, and 80's-era 15 Cent, complete with box top fade and dookie gold rope chain. For fans of the original, we reveal who Grogul truly is by way of Challenge mode's alternate looks. The challenge fights with the alternate looks are a lot of fun on iPhone. You'll also notice a running gag throughout the game where we place our fictional "Slam Juice" ads in certain arenas. Big Gip's oil ranch has big trucks and a very suspicious (but comical) cow factory of sorts.

The pimp pad overlooks the city complete with ladies, a hot tub, self-portrait with pet tiger, big screen TV running a 15 Cent video and a gold-plated escalator (of course). Laser Tokyo features robots, flying cars and a bazillion bright signs. Returning boxers Sake Bomb and 15 Cent had a whole new dimension of personality infused by way of their laser Tokyo and pimp pad arenas. We had a lot of fun coming up with ideas for them and we hope people find them as amusing as we do. Each background is constantly animating and takes on a life of its own - in fact, the backgrounds almost allowing them to become characters themselves. We also really love the backgrounds we were able to create for each character. Of course, we were excited to enable users to play their own music from their iPod libraries as well. Some of the improvements to the game include more characters with high quality character portraits and more animations, 3D boxing rings, lots of special effects, new music, an absolute ton of sound effects and some beautiful UI. The iPhone is so much more powerful and allows for such greater use of memory and application size. IGN Wireless: What did the iPhone allow you to do with Super KO that mobile did not? Chencinski: Obviously, we were able to push the art and effects way more than the mobile platform.

We can also prioritize our update features based on their feedback, which gives us the ability to make the game even better over time. We were able to make a much more full-featured game experience, akin to the DS or PSP, as opposed to an 8-bit experience. We knew the core of the gameplay would remain the same, but the iPhone would allow us to do so much more.
